Simple Extractions

During a simple extraction, your child’s dentist will administer some local anesthetic to numb the affected tooth and will then simply remove the tooth with a specialized tool and some gentle, consistent pressure. Most extractions only take a few minutes, and you will then be instructed on how to keep the extraction site clean and free of infection while the site heals over the coming weeks.
